People around here are confused about Halloween.
For some reason Jackson, MS is celebrating it on Saturday while all of the surrounding cities are celebrating it on Halloween. The whole Greater Metro area is confused. People will be trick-or-treating on all the wrong nights. Plus people don't understand why it has been moved.

1. It's usual to have parties or going to bars on a near weekend,
but I have never heard of changing the day when kids trick-or-treat to anything other than actual Halloween.

2. Yeah, it happens a lot nowadays.
Parents don't want kids out late on school nights. Which is lame, so far as I'm concerned. One night ain't gonna kill the kid.

4. Yeah I know. And the towns surrounding Jackson are
somewhat considered to be part of Jackson. I guarantee that kids will be trick-or-treating in Jackson Sat. and then in their towns on Monday. They get to do it twice.

7. Mine did too! Why don't we just
say it is the last Saturday of the month if that is how towns are going to do it. It is one freakin' night. Let the kids have fun.

11. I'd lose! Although I have been watching "Lost".
Maybe that would help me with my survival skills. I know I've had to have learned something from that show.
