I drank an entire bottle of Fauna wine. Well, there's maybe an inch or two left in the bottle. I had a feast of roasted lamb, whipped squash, salad and zucchini custard. For dessert we had carrot cake topped with black walnut ice cream.

Just FYI, I had serious problems sleeping on all that so I got up and read DU threads most of the night. Also the transcripts and reviewed the videos. I am so impressed with Fitz; he appears to really care about our democracy and I think this is what motivates him to run such a professional operation. He certainly didn't appear to take any pleasure in what he had to do. He realizes these are dark days for our country, just as we do.

I also talked about Fitzmas in all my Friday classes. I said, "Do you realize that every head of our government except for the judiciary is either under indictment (DeLay), under investigation (Frist), or has top people under indictment (bush). I reiterated that this was remarkable and was a first in history; certainly nothing to be proud of. Oh, the poor little bush supporters. They looked like they were gonna' cry.

I had the pleasure of breaking the news about the indictment to a group of other teachers who hate bush as much as I do.

It was a nice Fitzmas and it isn't over yet!
