What's the deal with global warming?
Plenty of people saying it doesn't exist. Okay, fine, that's your viewpoint.

Here's my case. I was born and raised here in Pittsburgh. Lived here from 1981-1999 until I joined the military. Not once can I remember it ever storming past mid-late September. Now we have severe storming in...November?!?

:wtf:

Not a doubt in my mind that global warming is thriving.

2. If the powers that be deny it...
you can bet your bottom dollar that it is real.

5. I think it is happening
but I don't think necessarily (or so I have read) that the extreme temps are indicative of it. Extremes happen, they come and go. The problem is that the average temp is predicted to raise a couple of degrees. It might not even be obvious to most of us, but it can change the polar ice caps.

At least that how it has been explained to me.
