1. There is a lot to like about him.
but as almost all politicians he favors the corporations in the end.

2. He is a moderate republican.
He is more left of right than most of the right..lol.

I like him, and a good deal of his politics. Some of his stances, I do not agree with. I felt he allowed himself to be a bit of a tool in last year's election. That, I did not like. Now, many moderate republicans who were then standing behind Bush are not, because it doesn't look good for 2006. I thought the country could have avoided a lot more ruin if Kerry was elected.

Even the American Conservative endorsed Kerry, saying that American conservatism and America in general would be far worse with a Bush re-election. They were right.

4. He seems like a nice enough guy
but I think he might be pretty damaged from his years in captivity. He has kind of a Stockholm Syndrome feeling about him, to me, at least. Like he wants everyone's approval a bit too much. And you can't make everyone happy.

7. If I could vote here, I would have come very close to voting for him
over Gore if it had come to that. Bush made the choice obvious, of course.

But now, knowing what I know, I'd never vote for him. He seems like a nice guy, doing what's right, but ANY man who would hug BUSH after the outright backstabbing Bush did to him in order to further any agenda isn't worth my vote.

8. yes.. the fact he let his wife and daughter get trashed by the regime
and didn't fight back. THEN kissed his ass in the 2004 election makes him a total whore in my eyes. He has NO credibility if he can't defend his wife and daughter.

Only a scumbag would mock a teenager (who had no choice about being in the spotlight) because of her looks.

32. He supports the anti-gay amendment in Arizona.
I understand there's a move to amend the state constitution to prohibit us from marrying. Stupid Bush loving asshole McCain is for it.

John McCain can buy a 14" dildo and he can go fuck himself. He's a nasty fucking bigot.

Still pissed from yesterday. Sorry.

There... you back now???

the guy is a FAKE. And dirt. Like Colin Powell.

When it came down to it, they both threw all of their values (if they had any) aside, got on their knees and "played ball" for this administration.

SICK BASTARDS.

19. I despise most Republicans...McCain, (sigh)....I don't know....He's not
evil but he sure does suck up close to it.

I respected him WAY more in 2000 before Bush was selected. Since then, he's pretty much towed the party line.

He is a Republican and despite what RoveCo did to him in the South Carolina primary in 2000 there he was kissing *'s ass in 2004. No respect for him. None whatsoever.

22. In a word - Yes
However, life is rarely that simple.

If it were, this country would be run by ... well, never mind that.

what you have there is a verifiable delimma, given some of the "admirable" qualities that he, at times, seems to possess.:dilemma:

The answer to verifiable delimmas rarely boil down to just one word.:dilemma:

So I will expound upon my original answer: Hell yes!

:hurts:

Bush lied and trashed him. He capitulated, folded like a Putz, and pretended that it never happened.

McCain is conciliatory to the point of ignoring evil and injustice.

Fuck him.

27. I like mccain the person and veteran not the politician
I voted for him in the 2000 primaires because I didn't like what the rethugs said about him and his family. Plus my biggest fear realized and the evil Dubya took over. However once you get past t he image he leaves alot to be desired. That said he is a nice guy and I admire his service.
