What song takes you away to that magical Calgon moment in the clouds?
I need to relax in the worst way right now. Ray Charles is singing Rainy Night in Georgia, and that's helping. Give me some more, please.

My brain is oozing out my ears onto the floor. And I don't feel like cleaning it up.

7. LOL! an odd choice for relaxation
I'll have to give that one a try later, after I start to recover from the week I've had at work so far. I don't need any screaming right now; I've done plenty of it myself the last couple of days.

from the Six Feet Under finale. It just seems like such a personal song, it's refreshing amongst the pop crap infecting the airways. Available on iTunes if you want it.

But I'm not familiar with it. Anything called Breathe can't be all bad - oh, man! Pink Floyd! I need to 'Breathe' right now.

17. Just a forewarning about Lorena
Her stuff has a pagan/wiccan bent to it. Very celtic inspired. But if you are offended by pagan stuff...I would avoid her.

28. Are you KIDDING? I'm only offended by christianity
As long as she's into alternative religions, I'm cool. I think all religion is bullshit, but I can respect wiccans and pagans much easier than I can christists. Fundies of all stripes are a pox on humanity. (This doesn't keep me from enjoying gospel music, however.)

But thanks for the warning, hehe.

22.  Fields Of Gold

You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
You'll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we walk in the fields of gold

So she took her love
For to gaze awhile
Upon the fields of barley
In his arms she fell as her hair came down
Among the fields of gold

Will you stay with me, will you be my love
Among the fields of barley
We'll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we lie in the fields of gold

See the west wind move like a lover so
Upon the fields of barley
Feel her body rise when you kiss her mouth
Among the fields of gold
I never made promises lightly
And there have been some that I've broken
But I swear in the days still left
We'll walk in the fields of gold
We'll walk in the fields of gold

I have some great african stuff by local artists, it's so damn upbeat, you can't help but play drums on your desk, or steering wheel, or kitchen counter, or wherever, LOL.

For relaxation, I'll second the recommendation for Loreena McKennitt, and add:

Gaelic Storm
Anuna
Maddy Prior
Great Big Sea
Altan
