so how the hell do you download ringtones??!!

i got a new phone. i admit my old phone was archaic (i talked on it while riding my dinosaur, it was bigger than my head, there was no "flip" and i had to set the lock, etc. go ahead - laugh ;-) ) but the one thing my old phone had that my new one does not is a wide and varied choice for ringer. so, it says i can use "my melody," but i have to download it first. nowhere, in all of the paper they sent me, can i find out how i am supposed to do that!

can anyone give me a clue?
