Terrell Owens Finds a Friend in Ralph Nader
Honestly, I thought this was from The Onion. Apologies if it's a dupe.

Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Philadelphia Eagles receiver Terrell Owens has a new supporter in his quest to get his job back: Ralph Nader.

The two-time presidential candidate and consumer advocate asked the National Football League and the Eagles to reinstate Owens, who was dropped for the season after he complained that the team didn't celebrate his 100th career touchdown catch and said the Eagles would be better off with a different quarterback.

While calling Owens's comments ``boorish and unwarranted,'' Nader said the receiver should be reinstated because the ban runs counter to the American tradition of free speech and deprives fans from the chance of watching the five- time Pro Bowl selection play.

Nader also said the decision is cheating fans who bought tickets to Eagles games ``on the assumption that they will see one of the game's most exciting receivers.''

1. On the last part I agree entirely.
I did not buy tickets to see the third and fourth stringers play. I bought tickets to watch D-Mac throw it to T.O.. The biggest losers in all of this nonsense are the fans.

2. "Nods"
I never stopped to think about that. The Fans are getting screwed on that.

Damn shame . . . despite T.O's rants and ravings. . . I thought he and the Eagles were an excellent match and I jumped "briefly" on his band wagon when he healed up and made it to the superbowl . . .

He'll end up at some other team (Wether or not it's a one year shot or not) because he is a good player regardless of his other faults.
