Alison Krauss and Dwight Yokum
just did a goosebumply version (for me, anyhow,) of "If I Were A Carpenter" on the Johnny Cash tribute.

Anyone else catch that?

1. No, sad to say I missed it. Alison has the voice of an angel.

2. I thought they stole the show
And that was a hard damn show to steal. Alison's voice borders perfection, but don't sell Dwight short.

4. I saw that. It was nothing less than stunning harmony.
I am still in shock at the beauty of those two voices together.

More than made up for the unbelievably lame Kris Kristofferson / Foo Fighters disaster that came just before it. KK is a good songwriter, but he shouldn't be allowed to sing in public.

Dwight and Alison REALLY should record an album together.
