2. Bad news...my heating system is kaput!

Technician is trying to unplug a clogged something or other.
He said if he can't get it unplugged, it would be shut down.
Since this system also supplies all the hot water to my home, it looks like I won't be able to take a hot shower for a few days.
(it is hydro-heat)

I asked if he would help me set up my kerosene heater and he said he would. It is too heavy for me to lift.

I have to keep my parrot above 64 degrees or she could die.
She is like a child to me.

5. Could not unclog the system and says it is extreme fire hazard

He just left and said NOT to turn it back on as it could set my house on fire. He said there is a hole and the flames are shooting sideways.
In the meantime, I realized I have a gas log fireplace which I had shut off but he helped to get it operational again.
So, the good news is that we will not freeze tonight and the bad news is that indeed I do need a new heating system.

My parrot is an african grey, and she was not happy we interrupted her beauty sleep.
