I have a 2nd job interview coming up next Mon.

I've been reading on the Internet trying to get ready.

This is hell job searching on both coasts. It seems that just when my wife or myself get invested in a job interview process , something promising comes up on the other coast.

However, nothing has worked out for either of us so far. Really gets depressing

3. Yeah, the waiting is the pits

most human resources people - well, sometimes it feels like most, treat you like crap. I got a call Wed. before Thanksgiving from Portland. They had interviewed 15 people, including me, for a position w/ the city and she was just calling to tell me that they would be getting with me after the holiday to schedule a second interview. She just didn't want to leave me hanging through the holiday w/out knowing.

I thanked her and told her that in the course of job hunting it was rare to find that kind of courtesy. Thinking back, I hope I didn't seem like a suck up. I was sincere.
