Three months without Fast Food
I'm not exactly sure why but in September I decided to make an effort to give up fast food . . and with the exception of one night of KFC for dinner cause my Grandma didn't want to cook dinner (Fair enough) I have been fast food free.

Not only that but I've dropped from 232 to 218 and continuing to drop (I gain some due to Thanksgiving weekend . . . but here's hoping to lose it).

Not only that but I've cut down to just one soda a day and I'm drinking more water than ever before.

Not sure why I felt the need to post this . . . just with the exception of Wendy's Five Piece Nugget I haven't really craved anything fastfood since giving it up. I guess I just realized today has been three months and figure I might as well comemorate on it (Or however you spell it . . I'm a horrible speller).

1. Congratulations! And I mean it!
I wish I could do the same. You are a stronger person than I am. Good luck keeping to it!

2. How often were you eating fast food before?
Congrats on the healthy eats and the weight loss. That's really great!

3. WAY TOO OFTEN
I'm not going to give an estimate. . . but I ate fast food way to often.

And while I'm proud of my weight lost I have a long way to go to get where I want. Here's hoping.

5. Great job!
could that freaking BK pic in your sig have had anything to do with it? ;)

I've been pretty good at avoiding fast food for the most part this year. I still crave a Mickey D's double cheeseburger now and again, but am usually able to avoid it.

11. Don't know if the Burger King pic
Has anything to do with it . . . but I do think the Burger King is the sole reason why I stopped eating at Burger King before I gave up fast food entirely ;).

6. I have been free for
over five months...on the 20th of december it will be six months. I started eating right, and working out in june...also quit smoking in june, on the 3rd of june, so this saturday, i'm six months free from smoking. I was 383 in june, and now i'm 328.....i will be weighed again on the 21 of this month, i'm on track for about 10lbs a month, in february im' thinking, i will be below 300, i hope...just gotta work more...:) last time i was weighed was at the begining of november, so i'm hoping for a good number on the 21st..most scales don't weigh over 300lbs, so i have to wait til i go to the doctor...:) Imagine that, to fat to weigh myself on conventional scales...alas, but not for to much longer...:)

7. I could live without it pretty much forever (and have), but that's
only because there are no Sonic Burger places around here. That would be too much of a temptation.

(PS: I don't count LOCAL burger & dog joints as "fast food." Just the chains.)

If I ever saw something like that in my yard, I'd take its head off with my 12 gauge.

10. Good Job
I've had 3 fast food burgers in 3 years. Popeyes is my downfall, I eat there about once a month.
