I'm home after being evacuated.....

Power went off in my building yesterday due and everybody had to be evacuated.
You never saw such a fuss, policemen, firemen, paramedics, city buses waiting to haul people away.

Came home yesterday to people waiting outside, I went up the stairs to get to my bird. :(

Well to make a looooong story short, something about sprinklers going off, getting in the power, and boom. Nobody was hurt, but 3 buildings went out with power.
I called family to come and get me.....wasn't going to get in a bus to God knows where. :(

Murphee is fine, and it was like minus 25 celsius so I'm glad I could wait inside the building not outside with everybody cause my bird woud have frozen.

She met some more family members, so she was happy. :) Very resilient little bird. :)

5. I'm lucking out.....

Some suites had extensive water damage (mostly vacant now I'm sure, due to renovations) but my suite wasn't touched. :)

It's the coldest day of the year so far so it's good to be home. :)
I like my own space. :)
