But unfortunately that's the nature of talk radio. Even on XM, a lot of the ads are wiped, but they replace it with some other content that's every bit as crappy (right wing slanted business reports, for example)

those phony-sounding kids, the repetivenes, that awful jingle. i think there's actually a subliminal tone buried under them that is designed to induce nausea.

8. Ovaltine has an odd history

It's been around since at least the 1920s, and was originally marketed as as if it were a patent medicine. It was sold in drug stores, not grocery stores. Check it out:
