1. On the rare ocassions that my mother cooked, she
always told me to come eat dinner when I heard the smoke detector go off. She meant it too. She burned almost everything. Anytime she would make something, she said she was "browning" it, which meant burning it. Growing up, I crunched those rock hard little charcoaled G&W pizzas and almost chipped a tooth one time. Her version of brown when it comes to food is when it has turned to charcoal.

2. i set my microwave on fire (or the contents inside of it)once while poppin
pop-corn. it seems i miscalculated the time for popping it and gave it a whole lot more time than it needed, all of a sudden when i looked inside the microwave there was a fire in it and the smell of burnt something was filling the kitchen. luckily it was only the popcorn bag burning, and the microwave was spared, although, still to this day the smell of burnt something is in it.

4. Ah. How easy it is to set something aflame whilst softening one's butte.
Good work. :patriot:

6. I caught a pressure cooker on fire
no one will get me a replacement even though I ask for one every holiday. Go figure

Glad the fire was no worse than it was and you're okay!
