WE put in some nice DuPont laminate, and have been dust mopping it. However, it needs to be cleaned. I know wet mopping is a no-no, but can you Wet Swiffer it?

1. wet mopping is a NONO?
when did that happen? What of spills, drinks, babies, animal accidents, or drunks?

3. I've been wiping with a damp towel
Yeah, everyone I know who has laminate -- plus the manufacturer of my flooring -- says that can/will ruin it.

2. sure, it shouldn't soak in
(which is the problem with mopping) I'm pretty sure that's how my folks clean theirs.

6. I've had laminate flooring for 5 years.
Wet swiffers have never harmed it at all.

I use a combo of vinegar and water then I mop. After I'm done mopping, I go over it with a microfiber cloth to wipe up all the residual.
