Every 24th of December it's the same damn thing

On the news, they go to some damn mart where some guy has waited until the last minute to go christmas shopping. There's this poor shmuch with a deer in the headlights look, picking up whatever the mart is pushing that year.
Just once I wish they would go to do that story and could'nt find anyone who had waited.

I'm always doing xmas shopping at the last minute. I don't whine about it or claim it is anyone's choice but mine, but I'm out there.

Of course if the media would try to interview me I would probably make up some bullshit story just to lead them on.

4. Speaking of deer in the headlights,

I was at KMart last night and they have this deer head that sings 6 different songs. The head moves up and down and the ears wiggle. It was one of the dumbest gift ideas I have ever seen. And it costs $90. Who shops at KMart with that kind of money? And why would you want to punish anyone by giving them this 'gift'? It was really obnoxious. That singing fish is kinda cute, but this deer head is far from cute.

8. I want to get my dad one of those SOOO BADLY

but there's no way I'm wasting 90 bucks to get him something he'll love. I don't much care for my parents and while I try to put just enough thought into their gifts that they'll actually be something they enjoy, I'm not dropping more than about 15 bucks a piece.
Now, if money was no object, I might consider it, but only because I'm becoming more sappy as the years go by. My dad would absolutely adore those deer!
