I wonder if Colbert stays in character in between takes... ?
He seemed to be OUT of character (i.e. himself) in Letterman a few weeks back, but IN character when I saw him on another program (I don't remember which, but another talk show).

Any thoughts?

His show was great tonight. I liked how he let the blogger go on about how homosexuality is the same as heterosexuality (HUMAN) and didn't interrupt him as per usual. That said a lot. Plus, the blogger described his ideas beautifully while still keeping it light and humorous. Very good.
