2. One of the worst bands ever. Not the worst, fer sure, but damned close.
I had the miserable experience of seeing them in concert once, when they opened for DIO.

Man, did they suck.

3. I think I saw that tour
that was right about the peak of my heavy metal phase, IIRC. They probably weren't that good, because I don't remember a damn thing about them. Hell, I even saw Queit Riot opening for Black Sabbath, and even though they sucked, I at least remembered part of it.

4. I saw that one, too! Quiet Riot were pretty good -
I enjoyed them. They aren't great, but they were good enough. What I remember most is the singer guy spinning the microphone stand all over the place, and then carrying the guitar dude around on his shoulders. Seems most every spandex band had to have a moment of the singer carrying the guitar dude around on his shoulders.

But Sabbath totally fuckin' destroyed 'em.

7. Nope. I'm a long-time and HUGE Dio fan!
Ever since Rainbow, then into Sabbath, and then on his own.

LOVE his music.

5. What about "In My Dreams"?
I think it was their biggest MTV hit.

They did indeed suck to biblical proportions, although George Lynch was a great guitarist.

12. Yep
In My Dreams rocks.

Not to be confused with Dream Warrior, which sucked and was the theme to Nightmare on Elm Street 2 if I'm not mistaken.

I dont know much Dokken. Into the Fire, Breakin the Chains and In My Dreams are my top three and probably the only ones I could name off the top of my head.

13. George Lynch was a great guitarist and....
he's a good liberal spokesperson I've heard. Haven't heard him personally, just heard of him speaking against Bush and the war.

THE HUNTER?

"I'm a hunter
Searching for love
On these lonely streets again
I'm the hunter
Searching for the things
That I might never find again"

14. I was about to mention that one.
George Lynch's expo tune, and he is a monster of a guitar player.

I saw Dokken open for Judas Priest once, I remember Dokken sucking much less than I expected. Actually sort of pleasant, really. Of course, Priest blew them off the stage!
