For me it's a tie between "I'll be home for Christmas" and "Have yourself a merry little Christmas". After a few drinks I'll blubber at either one. What's yours?

3. I'l be home for Christmas, but also Fear's 'Fuck Christmas'
Used to listen to that at University in Germany when I could come home to California. Man, it used to really hit home. Now I just listen to the Fear song.

4. I’ll be home for Christmas.
Taken within the time that it was popular it is a sad song. I have always felt the loneliness of the young American boy listening to that song in the cold, wet WWII encampments of Europe. How sad and lonely those words must have seemed to them. I'll be home for Christmas You can plan on me Please have snow and mistletoe And presents on the tree Christmas Eve will find me Where the lovelight gleams I'll be home for Christmas If only in my dreams I'll be home for Christmas You can plan on me Please have snow and mistletoe And presents on the tree Christmas Eve will find me Where the lovelight gleams I'll be home for Christmas If only in my dreams

9. Another vote for "I'll Be Home for Christmas"
Unfortunately, it's one of the Muzak programmer's favorites. Which means that anyone who works in a place that subscribes to Muzak gets to hear that song approximately once per hour.
