For all my fellow Steeler fans...
One day, as we all must, Peyton Manning died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a white clapboard ranch-style house with a Colts flag in the window. "This house is yours for eternity, Peyton." said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets their own house up here."

Peyton felt special and walked up to his house. On his way up to the porch, he noticed another house. It was a 3-story mansion with a Black and Gold sidewalk, a 50 foot tall flagpole flying an enormous Steelers flag, and in every window was a Terrible towel.

Peyton looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but, why does Ben Roethlisberger get a better house than me?"

God chuckled, and said "Peyton that's not Ben's house, it's mine."

Go STILLERS!!

1. The only thing i'm more sick of than that joke....
....is the Here We Go song.....over.....and over....and over...

Lived in Shadyside on Howe street (that's in Pittsburgh folks) and back in '95-'96 for the last Steelers superbowl appearance the Randall's Toys there played it on their outside speakers on repeat play for 12 hours a day for 2 weeks. We could hear it from the apartment. Over...and over....It nearly drove us mad.

Walked by there the other day and they were playing it again...I feel for the poor folks who live around there.

I love the Steelers, but nearly 200 hours of hearing that song in a fortnight I think drove some of us crazy.

6. That joke has been around longer than Tom Brady
It's probably been around since before he was born. The first time I heard it, it was back in the seventies and it was Bradshaw and whoever the opposing quarterback was at the time...

Probably been around since even the sixties or fifties.

10. Here's another old chestnut:
Edited on Tue Jan-24-06 10:47 AM by Beware the Beast Man
On the first day of school a first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a Seahawks fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too, are Seahawks fans.

Wanting to impress their teacher, everyone in the class raises their hand except one little girl.

The teacher looks at the girl with surprise and says, "Janie, why didn't you raise your hand?"

"Because I'm not a Seahawks fan," she replied.

The teacher, still shocked, asked, "Well, if you are not a Seahawks fan, then who are you a fan of?"

"I am a Steelers fan, and proud of it," Janie replied.

The teacher could not believe her ears. "Janie, why pray tell are you a Steelers fan?"

"Because my mom is a Steelers fan, and my dad is Steelers fan, so I'm a Steelers fan too!"

"Well," said the teacher in a obviously annoyed tone, "that is no reason for you to be a Steelers fan. You don't have to be just like your parents all of the time. What if your mom were an idiot and your dad were a moron, what would you be then?"

"Then," Janie smiled, "I'd be a Seahawks fan."

11. Shouldn't that be "I'd be a Browns fan"?
