Honestly. Ask SotbPaul; he knows I hate that damned show. (he likes it)

Plus, up against the sage wit and fiery political passion of 'Caroline in the City,' 'Friends' seemed anemic to me at the time. Maybe it's aged better....

Anyway, we all know the best show on NBC that season was "Boston Common," with that dreadfully unfunny schmuck from "Yes, Dear."

25. Any mention of Creed
demands mention of the Scott Stapp Drives Two Hours In The Hopes of Getting Laid But Actually Is Being Suckered For Laughs story:

"...I heard through the grapevine that night that Creed had actually kicked Scott Stapp out of their band. I don't know if this is true or not as no one on the Internet has any stories about it. But I googled him recently and found out that his solo career isn't taking off nearly like he expected, despite being the first released single off the Passion of the Christ Songs CD-- songs inspired by the movie. Mel Gibson hand picked him for a special screening, and he wrote a song after he was so personally affected by the movie. Douche.

Anyway, so the guy who was so spiritually affected by The Passion of the Christ is now hightailing it to Gainesville to tag a piece of ass he met in an airport bar. And he's having his ghettotastic hootchie skanky Jersey girl sleaze of a sister drive him. Yes, Creed is making his sister drive him to the Gainesville Denny's for a booty call..."

Edited on Wed Feb-01-06 04:58 PM by LynneSin
but afterwards they've put crap out - you've heard it, it's all crap. Nothing worth wasting my money on buying. NOT ONE SINGLE ALBUM WHATSOEVER.

I'm a major fan of classic rock but sometimes it's good that the band wraps it up after putting out 10-12 good albums like what has happened with Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. (Queen was starting to go that direction until the untimely death of Freddie Mercury - I can't stand any of their albums after Jazz) Because eventually, the band just starts running out of ideas on what is good music and tries too hard to compete with the current groups that are hot right now and the music starts tanking.

CRAP!!

I bought a used copy of Bridges To Babylon recently. Definately not the best Stones album I've ever heard.

54. I worry about bands like U2 and Green Day
Both bands have been around for awhile and both are at their peaks. I'm fearful that soon enough they'll start putting out the crap just to keep up with the younger bands.

BTW, Aerosmith falls into the same group as the Stones.

38. I just read Donny's bio -- how's that for being bored?
The only shocking thing in it is he was prescribed vodka for some anxiety/stage fright disorder. And only shocking to him, because he's Mormon.

Why doesn't anyone prescribe Miller Lite for me? Then I would only have to pay the co-pay.
