3. Their chemistry is amazing
Onstage and off. The concert footage is interspersed with backstage chat about music and their personal insights and reflections. If this is on DVD, I am getting it. :-)

6. oooh! If it's a DVD (or even a CD), lemme know, willya?
I just heard Lyle and Al Green do "Ain't it Funny (How Time Slips Away)" and it was fantastic. Also saw Lyle and his Large Band in LA in the early '90s - amazingly good band, he had then. And Bonnie's got such a beautiful voice.

Do you miss Flagstaff at all? My sister and brother-in-law lived there for 12 years and I visited often. They eventually moved b/c of crappy salaries for teachers. The area is gorgeous in the spring and summer, tho...

7. I'll be glad to let you know!
:-)

As for Flagstaff, I do not miss it, but it was the right place at the right time. I do not regret living there, and will always have a little place in my heart for it.

I will add that I can relate as far as low salaries go. I had a good job, but was grossly underpaid.

2. I despise country and western music...
…but Bonnie and Lyle are far less evil than most of the other country and western "musicians."

4. Bonnie isn't country
and Lyle is more than just country. He's pretty bluesy too.

So does Bonnie for that matter. I love her tremendously. Seen both of them live at their own shows, and they are fantastic.

14. I just saw Bonnie Raitt here in Santa Cruz two nites ago. She rocked!
It was a sold out show, of course. She gave an outstanding concert! :loveya:

I was also lucky enough to see Bonnie and Lyle together at a concert a few years back.

I don't watch CMT, but I dig their music. Nice to know you're a fellow fan! :hi:

15. Sorry I missed that.
Was it Crossroads? That is a great show, except when they have people like Toby Kieth or Gretchen Wilson on it.

17. Saw this last night...
I adore Bonnie Raitt, and so does Mom. We've played ma's old tape of "Takin' My Time" to death...half the songs on it are distorted all to hell, but Bonnie still sounds amazing.
