I need help re: Ding Dongs.
I'm making a birthday cake for my geezerly son, who turns eight tomorrow, and it's a dinosaur. The recipe requires something called "ding dongs." What the hell are ding dongs? Are they like twinkies? I hope so, because those what I bought. I saw nothing which made any reference to either dings, dongs, or both, on the grocery store shelves.

3. They are much like twinkies, only chocolate
Think of a Hostess cupcake dipped in hard-ish chocolate, and you're there.

4. Ding dongs are made by Hostess
They're round chocolate cakes filled with cream, like a Twinkie.
