1. Who wants boring old stuff about the WH? Bring on the junk!
Why think about how rotten the world is, when you can see people singing and news about the people singing?

had been drinking heavily.

Now, will the family sue the cruise line for serving him more alcohol when he was already drunk? Or, perhaps, he brought his own aboard and got blitzed on his own.

4. I HAVE TWO THEORIES

One, America is burnt out on bad news every morning and the stations are hearing it (could be a plot )

Two, Karl "Iceman" Rove is sending out orders to tone down the bad news.

But ABC hasn't been listening. Good for them. Maybe people are really interested in that stupid-ass show?

5. I want my American Pariah!
What crap - Today and the news!!
Garbage TV at it's worst.

I propose "American Pariah" with the entire administration as the contestants. Also joining them could be slime from congress and the senate, along with the inestimable Cruella Harris. Falwell, Robertson, etc...

Who's the biggest pariah of them all??
Tune in!

9. Well, as *a* lead-in. In the opening greetings before they kick into news
More of a grabber, perhaps, but still. Geez...who the f cares about some corporate-created "talent"?

10. I have Today on, and they did a segment on the closed door briefing
of the Senate and House Intelligence Committee re NSA telephone snooping. They then went on to a decent segment on Hayden's confirmation hearing today. So far, nothing on American Idol.

14. and the Job Market is booooooooooming!
Graduates are faced with the biggest baddest bestest choice of the 700Brazillion new jobs created since January!
Applicants are down so employers are being FORCED to offer higher salaries, perks, new homes cars to entice prospective employees to take these jobs

that Americans

just won't

do.

:sarcasm:

As a service to their viewers i think all MSM-CON news should have a 2-second delay between picture and sound . . . so the words and lips just don't synch up. I think it would lend them some credibility.

18. Never expect television to deliver anything but entertainment....
...and information about itself.

It is viewer feedback system that only exists for the purpose of delivering advertising.

By watching television you only feed the system.

Turn it off...for 30 days. It will change your life.

19. LoL. I was just thinking about that this morning.
My morning news brought me the traffic/weather. Then I got a story about Vince Vaughn buying a 1.4 million dollar condo downtown and comments about how that's on the low side for someone of his stature. Then they told me about the house being sold for 75 million dollars and that just beats out a house sold for 50 million. Then I got to hear about some perv that got busted for taking kiddie porn pics. I honestly don't know why I bother anymore other than to hear the weather/traffic updates before I leave.
