I got a new camera today! (Pics inside)
My new camera came in the mail today. As soon as I got out of work I stopped at home to pick up the dog and was off to try it out! I didn't change any settings, just turned it on and started shooting. Now I have to learn now to change modes, etc... but anyway:

The clouds are doing some weird things today. Pure gray stormy looking clouds AND beautiful blue sky with big white fluffy clouds. It was doing some strange things with the lighting .... anyway, here are 4 pictures I took:

1. Those are beautiful pics!
I love the big, fluffy clouds. We haven't had any of late...it's a case of having too many, and too full of precipitation...but those cotton candy fluffy ones are beautiful. :-)

3. Right.
The water pics are of Lake Cle Elum (in case you'd like to look it up on a map) - These are taken outside Roslyn (Northern Exposure), through Ronald, into Wenatchee Natl Forest and up a forest service road - looking back toward Ronald/Roslyn.

My dog's name is Bodhi. He makes my car windows pretty nasty, as you can see. lol

7. Ha! Even better? Mine loves to lick them.
Lick lick lick. The only way I could keep my windows clean is if the dog never got in. I even have nose marks in the top left corner of the windshield. :wtf:

5. lol
Sheesh - call me out in front of everyone willya? ;)

I put them here first - figured not many people go to the photog group and I thought loungers may be interested in seeing them. I love seeing photos others post. Judging by the number of responses I could/should have just stuck to the photography group. :D

11. I was just teasing you...
I double-post sometimes, too. These really are pretty photos. Washington is one of my other favorite places. I know you're going to have a lot of fun with the new camera.

9. Gorgeous pix! Know how to clean em up? Picasa by Google. Free online
photograph clean up, organize, manipulate, etc software from google. See for those photos on Picasa you can brighten up the fill light so you can see the detail in the lower trees if you want.. with a simple easy mouse movement.

It's totally idiot proof, takes up no room and is error and bug free.

I can't wait to see what else you're going to shoot!

I researched cameras to death before settling on this one.

14. Those are great!
Panasinic has some very good camers lately. My roommate has an DMC-FZ20.
I got his DCM-FZ10 when he upgraded.

He said I could use his FZ-20 if I wanted to but mine fine.
