5. It will have to be a virtual piece, since the real one is looong gone.
:D

16. A virtual piece is better, because then it has only virtual calories.
Excellent.

8. The first time is always the best.....
Looking for the right way...

Hoping everything comes out in the right place...

And that nothing, absolutly nothing....

Sticks to the pan....

4. That looks wonderful...
I haven't made one of those since last year...did you do it in a cast-iron skillet?

I made these a few months ago:

but I don't have AC and lately it's just been too hot to bake.

9. Yup, I did, indeed. I'd never baked a cake in a skillet before.
It was so much fun to make! It presents so well I'm definitely going to bring it along to my next potluck party.

Your cake looks amazing, too. You didn't make THAT one in a skillet, did you??

Baked goods are my fatal weakness....Yummmy!

18. Isn't it fun?
It doesn't seem like it should turn out, does it? Then...it does. I have a little more trouble because of the altitude, so every once in a while, disaster strikes but it's worth it.

Baking is something I love to do...but I do so much of it at Christmas I tend to burn out and, by the time I feel like doing it again, it's too hot.

Some day I'll post a gingerbread house pic...those are fun.
