I am without my SCOOTER

Last Saturday I took a tumble on my scooter. I wasn't hurt..some bruises mainly.

In trying to avoid an SUV while turning into a mall to avoid an oncoming rain storm I ran over a curb and my scooter and I took a tumble.

My scooter's tire got out of alignment and she also sustained some scratches on her body and the windshield.

So, the Vespa shop here had to order parts from Piaggio and they are coming from the east coast. The parts were ordered on Monday but they have yet to arrive via UPS.

This is an important weekend scooterwise for me...it's the anniversary of my buying my beloved 50cc. I bought my 50 (which has since been traded in for a 150cc scooter) on June 25, 2005.

This is tough because my scooter is my primary means of transport. Now I am, back on the bus as well as my bike (and I don't do well on it thanks to the inclines and hills of St Louis).

June 25, 2006 I am scooterless and I am sad.

I miss my scooter.
