The high cost is because the current one thinks he's worth it, it costs a lot to revive the old and the really dead, and Clinton's still in debt.

1. Lyndon Johnson
Because he's the most interesting. He did so many good things, ie, Voting Rights Act, War On Poverty; and so many not so good things, ie, Vietnam, using his office personal gain. I'd just like to meet him and learn more about what made him who he was.

2. He got depressed
probably because that's a normal reaction to war and having the weight of the world on your shoulders. If only * had the capacity to be depressed.

5. He used his office for personal gain before Vietnam
The thing that interests me is the notion that someone could be really really good and really really bad: at the same time. I also think he doesn't get as much credit as he deserves just due to the fact that he was from Texas, and all enlightenened people know that nothing good ever comes from the south :sarcasm:

7. I think that even the really good people in history have a dark side

President Clinton came from the south and so did President Carter- the two best presidents of my lifetime!

16. It is very interesting, isn't it? The Vietnam war was a terrible thing but
he actually thought it was for the greater good. So I can almost understand. But he killed San Ernesto, so... no forgiveness here.

6. Thomas Jefferson
Would like to present him with the US as it is today, and get his take on what could be done to improve things. Would also ask for a handwritten note from him to take with me about what the Framers really intended.

We shared a birthdate, not year, but I sent him a birthday card every year when I was in elementary school, and he sent one back to me.

Hey, it was a cool show and tell ! And I think he'd let me keep the 100k too :D

Then I would kick him REALLY HARD in the groin. That's only because I don't believe I'd have the guts to shoot him with a gun.

By the way, don't cry for the Clinton's -- they're in the black again. Bill is doing lots of speeches and he made a bunch of money off his book. Thank goodness they caught his heart problem when they did, because he might be a dead president by now.

Wife Hillary's not doing bad herself financially. I still think they are a great couple -- so there!

25. Not a US prez,
but Mohammed Mesedeq. He was the leader of Iran in the 50s when it was a progressive country. Then the US overthrew him bc he didn't want to give away his country's oil, he wanted to use the profits for his people.
