Why does Pat Robertson and other fundies look like they
are pinching a loaf when they pray? I went to a funeral and their was couple waving their arms in the air while they prayed, is that to get God's attention or ours?

5. They all shop at the same neocon tailor, too....
Anyone else notice that? Same glass frames, same cheap business suits, same beady little eyes..

Same "my shit don't stink" attitude.

6. The waving around is considered an expression of spirit
At my liberal church, people do a lot of that during the music, but not during prayers or sermons. Since we are somewhat new-agey, we would say that they were feeling the energy being raised.

I would say that they are feeling the Holy Spirit's presence, which is pretty much what the fundies would say, too.

I'm comfortable in a church with that type of activity, but not where they speak in tongues. That just freaks me out.

7. They know it's a much better way to pray than how Jesus said to.
If they prayed as he instructed, only God would know what they were up to and they wouldn't get all the attention and publicity that gets their tiny rocks off.
