My life is nearly perfect. Except for the one thing that I should realize by now is unobtainable, and keep focusing on the parts of the life I know I've got.

Pity our society wants people to be that way, but I shouldn't be whipping myself to death because of it. And what people in the relevant subcultures do too. They aren't worth my time.

3. If most people really realized the extent to which they are kept down,

and deprived of things that other, "higher-class" people take for granted, they would probably start rioting and burning shit down. It's happened before. That's why we now have sitcoms and professional sports.
