I can't say why, just haven't.

But then, you're talking to someone who has not seen the *vast* majority of popular movies produced since 1984...and I'm 29! :o

You should watch more stuff and read more stuff!

I highly recommend Fight Club (book or movie) though the movie is better IMO.

28. Hey, NNadir!
Have you read "The Physics of Superheros"? Just finished it a couple of weeks ago. Gotta say that I had to read everything several times because it was just flying over my head. Shoulda taken physics in HS or college I guess. Anyway, I did learn Newton's three laws of motion and the three laws of thermo dynamics so I guess it wasn't a total loss.

familiarizes people with the laws of physics.

Cool! Thanks for telling me about it.

I did see Warren Beatty's face briefly while channel-flipping. I loved him in the elusive Mickey One. But now I've landed on some financial pornography that diverts me.

I will come to Boston again some time, thanks for the invite. When I do, I shall yodel in your direction.

Edited on Fri Jul-14-06 09:25 PM by swag
and she's talking to Richard Bernstein from Merrill, David Lereah of National Association of Realtors, and Robert Kessler from Kessler Investment Advisors.

They're talking about things like cash & equivalents outperforming US stocks and Treasury notes and bonds for the past eight years, treating housing as an asset class, and if the Fed is near the end of tightening.

I like to read about economics, but I'm a dilettante. Still reading, though.

Any recommendations? Next windfall I have, I might order Krugman's expensive textbooks on microeconomics and macroeconomics. They have gotten good marks from students and other readers.

Do you like your egg sandwiches
On Toast w/butter
on toast w/ mayo
on untoasted bread w/mayo
on untoasted bread w/butter
any of the above plus a slice of cheese.??
cooked well or slightly runny
Millions could die depending on your answer :)

33. If you were trapped in a burning building that had been set on fire
by a really evil person who wanted to kill you and everyone else inside because he didn't like the songs you sang, and a SECOND evil person saved you all, and that second evil person was enemies with the first evil person and wanted to defeat them but also wanted to kill anyone who didn't think he SHOULD kill the first evil person, would you be indebted to help Evil Person 2?

46. It's been like the amphibian invasion around my house this week.
Tree frogs fucking all around the pool at night. Leopard frogs hopping too and fro. Toads popping up in random places like my leopard frog photo and the garage.

We had a 6-point buck in the yard today. I wasn't able to get close enough for a photo though. He bolted the second he saw me. It would have been beautiful.

It's like a fucking wildlife refuge around here.
