What lesser known actor or actress do you have a crush on?
Mine is Shawnee Smith

I hate the show "Becker" but I watch it just about every night just for her scenes. She is so gorgeous and her delivery is so deadpan, she is such a talented comedian. I'm surprised she's not a lot more famous. Every night I say I'm not gonna watch that show and just about every night I suffer through it just for her few minutes on screen.

She isn't unknown, but I think as far as on-screen crushes, she is fairly lesser known. Either way, I've always thought she was a babe. She's definitely the least known member of my Top 5 List.

You go for talent as much as looks. Though Paul Giamati is in danger of becoming a former "lesser known" actor, with his repeated critical acclaim and award nominations. Not to mention his starring role in an upcoming M Night Shaymalan film.

52. Using a strict definition of lesser known..
I will leave off my big crushes on actresses like Kristen Bell (who's likely one of us based on her comments on Bush's spying program,) Amber Tamblyn, and Bonnie Somerville (just found out she voted for Kerry.)

Which leaves these as among my significant lesser known crushes (I didn't list all of them) -

Alison Lohman
Ali Larter
Parker Posey
Dominique Swain
Samaire Armstrong
Leighton Meester
Zooey Deschanel
Thandie Newton
Sharon Case
Stephanie Gatschet
Adrianne Leon
Ashley Jones
Adrienne Frantz
Lauren Woodland

The last 6 are soap opera actresses.

I hate to break it to you, but it appears that Shawnee is a Repuke - unless she's changed since then (that's possible with Bush's unpopularity.) Source:

Tomoko Tabata (or, in Japanese order, Tabata Tomoko), the Japanese actress...she gives me the warm fuzzies :). I've been dying to find a copy of the film that she was in, that I saw when I was on my way back from Japan ("Daiteiden no Yoru Ni", a.k.a. "Until the Lights Come On"), but to no avail yet.

That's her.
