1. Is he going to the one at Alpine Valley?
My sister's family (except her) are going to that one, but I don't know when it is. Luckily, this year they bought the seats under the canopy, after doing three or four ozfests out in the yard and the burning sun.

the first one i went to in 2001 was a hot day like today. they had hoses with water "misting" set up everywhere for people to stand under during that particular Ozzfest..

13. He's not going until around 3 or so.
He really only wants to see Black Label Society and Dragonforce.

9. It will be something for him to remember
When he's gets to be an old fogey like me, the Ozfest he went to that was so damn hot. Kids can take this stuff, I went to a threeday musicfest when I was 17, the heat was above 100 each day.

Tell him to sneak off and roam around where the busses are. That's what my son did at Ozzfest and he hung out with some cool bands all day. :)
