If you've ever worked in customer service in ANY capacity, I'm sure you've dealt with customers who were 1/100th of this woman.

If you've ever wondered why customer service people are sometimes testy, this may explain why.

God. I've worked in so many jobs where my desk phone was the first to ring when someone called the company. Didn't matter if I was who they were looking for (sales) or not. You answer the phone, you get this woman, and all of her satan spawn that love nothing more than to harass people who have the godforsaken job of answering the telephone

I think they're of close relation. I love the nonsensical screaming fits and how she (the caller, not Gorgyle woman) claims to have had a burst appendix or whatever because of the neverending phone calls.

I've encountered people like this woman many times on the subway in NYC, with the whole kind of logic of "My house was broken into, so it's the fault of telemarketers, and I have the power to make sure they get their taxes audited every year for the rest of their life because my appendix burst because of them."
