How often do you get a haircut, and why?

1. I trim my own when the split ends merit it.

It's all one length so paying to have it done is a bit of a waste.

somewhere between past my shoulders and mid-way down my back. It's just too unmanageable after that point.

I've considered letting it grow out and go for the "mad professor" type look but it's more hassle then it's worth. And besides, it's not grey enough for that yet!

5. No bonus points for me, my dear MoseyWalker!

I get my hair cut about every 6 weeks or so, by a dear friend of mine who is officially retired......

But still cuts the hair of a few of her faithful customers for a little extra money, and to keep her hand in!

6. Since I am bald on top, I have cut my own hair for ten years now.

What little hair I have grows pretty slow. I would say about every 5 weeks or so I get my Wahl trimmer out and stand in front of the mirror.
