8. Does that mean your hard drive
won't be attacked by its own troops?

9. One never knows about "friendly fire"
But hopefully Ed Norton will protect it from viruses.

10. Just how big is that hard drive, and how long did it take you to finish?
Defragging, of course!

12. 80 gigs - arrgghh arrgghh! (about 9 inches?)
Sometimes I can do it in a few minutes - depends on how long I've gone without defragging...once a week hardly seems sufficient, no?

13. Just turn off the lights
...and put it on auto.

Can I download that Microshaft utility, and does it come in a lefthanded version?

14. MS's utility, in Win2k and XP, is a scaled down version of
Diskeeper. Much slower than the proper product, of course... they'd need an incentive to keep people buying their product!

15. Speaking of hard drives -
After installing XP and all my software I had about 34,000 files. 4 months later, with NO new programs added, I have 94,000 files in there. Where the hell do all those buggers come from? Surely it couldn't be just Windows and anti-virus updates. Or could it?
