1. I'll comment, if you'll tell me what it is.
I've never known where to find them!

4. Hiya, here you go:
Go to the top of the DU page, choose Options
Look at the left sidebar, choose Edit your preferences
go to Display signatures (it's the 3d slot), choose yes.

Hope this helps.

2. Are you talking about the cat or the Thomas Paine quote?
He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from opposition; for if he violates this duty he establishes a precedent that will reach himself. - Thomas Paine

I like the Thomas Paine quote the best, although I do like cats, too.

3. some quotes that I have used as email signatures
"If GDP is up and the economy is steaming ahead, how come that, for the first time in remembered history, parents see their own adult children facing a future in which they have to settle for less - a world in which they are less likely to own their own home and one in which, for the first time, education and quality health care may cost them more than they can afford. "

"What President Bush has done is a lot like him going to the bank and borrowing $1,000 in your name, but then giving you only $250." Bob McIntyre

'We stand at Rossa's grave not in sadness, but in exultation of spirit... This is a place of peace sacred to the dead, where men should speak with all charity and all restraint; but I hold it a Christian thing... to hate evil, to hate untruth, to hate oppression, and hating them to strive to overthrow them... while Ireland holds these graves, Ireland unfree, shall never be at peace.'

"To call Bush a Christian is to make a mockery of all those good people who have truly devoted their lives to real Christian moderation, self-sacrifice and service to the poor and politically disenfranchised." Charles Sullivan

"Two core pillars of the American idea, optimism and egalitarianism, are being eroded. Taking their place is the cynicism of an Anxious Class that believes, rightly, that the rules aren't fair; and the hubris of a Winning Class that lives by its own rules." David Callahan

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."
George W Bush, accidentally telling the truth

Of course I only include them because the Paine quote does not really do anything for me.
