one of the greatest tv dramas ever.

Real life parallel: the white mayor of Baltimore now running for governor of Maryland.

3. I started watching this season
this show is great. Although I was tremendously confused and having trouble keeping up for a while. Then I rented and watched the entire first season over the weekend. It certainly helped keep the characters clear. I'm going to have to get the other two seasons also. I'm kind of bummed that there will only be one more season for me to be in on the ground floor of.
