1. Yeah, stylists have a wonderful way...
Edited on Sat Oct-28-06 04:35 PM by Kutjara
...of casually mentioning deficiencies we didn't know we had. They must learn to do that as part of their training. You'll be sitting there, thinking happy thoughts, when the stylist will pipe up with, "I don't think this style suits someone with a weak chin like yours," or, "Wow, your ears are really off kilter." Well thanks. Just call me Quasimodo, why dontcha?

I'm surprised there aren't more bludgeoning murders of hairstylists.

I just use lotion on my face and it really works for concealing wrinkles and dry skin.

I use Queen Helene. Good stuff.

5. Here's A Suggestion
Biotherm Homme Hydra Detox Yeux. Best product for eye wrinkles you can buy. Also, Roche-Posay makes an incredible line of moisturizers as well. These products aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

10. No, I had the feet of a crow...
But I would still have found her attractive. I'm not into eyelines.

15. They're not crow's feet, HypnoToad. They're laugh lines!
All other wrinkles should be defined as "character lines". It's all in how you look at it.

your age, it's a losing proposition.

Forget about it. You're a man. It's hard enough to worry about the parts of the body that are aging and HURTING or NOT WORKING CORRECTLY -- or worse. In spite of everything, you ARE aging -- but what is the alternative?

In peace,

Radio_Lady

17. I understand. But yet, you must eventually accept the march of time...
Nothing will stop it and to dwell on that fact is to waste today, the only day you have.

of when my hairstylist said "Gee, you are getting a lot of greys.". That was a boost to the self esteem!!:hide:

18. Just watch out for vulture's feet--they're the worst.
I must have good genes because at age 54 I have very few lines, but I don't think men show their age as quickly on their faces. I always figured that if I ended up with a face that looked like an old farmer I could always become an old farmer.
