I freaked out some Apple store people ...
I went in and bought the new iPod Shuffle. It came to $83 and I gave them cash. The clerks had a deer-in-the-headlights look.

Yes, people, some still use paper money for financial transactions.

1. Yeah, they act like they have never seen cash before.
I had to get an emergency plane ticket for my son once and I had the cash for it. The ticket agent actually had to call his supervisor because he didn't know what to do with it.

2. I used a dollar coin at our library to pay a fine...
and the young girl at the front desk said "We don't take those here." I said, "You have to, it's U.S. currency."

4. Throw 'em a real loop and use a two dollar bill
This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private.

3. i use cash as well, every monday i go in to the bank and withdraw
actual cash instead of using my atm card and racking up fees, i spent over $300 last year alone on "Non-bank ATM's" charges so now it's only cash.

5. I was in a bar and paid for my drink with a pile of coins, and
the bartender (who was also the owner of the bar) started counting them, and when he finished he said, "I DON'T DO THIS!" and stormed away in a huff. The poor guy had to stop and count about 12 quarters and a few dimes!
