What does one do with a terribly large, tacky gift given by good
friends?

Good friends of ours, who normally have good taste, actually gave us a 4x6 foot backlit, kinetic, nature scene picture in a frame. If you've been to Walgreen's lately, you probably know the ones I'm talking about. What do I do with this thing? I wouldn't put this in my home even if I did have a place for it.

It's just really ugly, but I don't want to hurt feelings.

HELP!

1. Give it away
Tell them you didn't have room for it.

3. Take it to your local Goodwill for them to sell...
get a receipt, and then if they ask, say it was too heavy for the nails you used, and it got broken.

#1 reason why I hate getting gifts...

6. Here's what I did
I was in a similar dilemma once. I hung it on the corner wall of my living room behind a huge (ficas?) fake tree. No hurt feelings.
