Poll question: Funniest noun in the English language?
...Just on its own?

Note: it has been suggested that the universal test for a funny noun is to see if it makes people laugh when inserted into the sentence "...I've got a _______ in my pants." I would argue this is too simplistic. In fact, I challenge someone to come up with a noun that isn't funny in that sentence.

7. Kumquat sounds like a double-entendre...
There's a village south of Albany, NY called "Coxsackie." Suppose one were to eat a kumquat in Coxsackie? Would you be rebuked by your parents for saying so?

Not in the dictionary so I hope I had got it right...

Oops, didn't notice the fill-in-the-blank part but I think my suggestion is still witty. :D
