5. Oh devilgrrl, I'm sorry

The same thing happened to my DH. It was his 50th birthday, on Thanksgiving day a few years ago, and our dear old dog had to be put down. DH's birthday or a Thanksgiving haven't gone by without our remembering. We try now to talk about how cute and funny he was..how he made our lives so much better..but it still hurts.

8. How Sad!

My sincerest sympathy. If that happened to me, I would cry and cry and cry. You are doing well to blog here, and to ask for much needed support from here, even if it is a year later. I hope I will have the strength to do that when those times come (I have 2 kitties, two pooches).
