We got a new dog. Meet Bean

We didn't name him, the children of the original owner did.
He's about twice the size of our other dog but she seems to be showing him who is dominant. Bean is only 9 months and Luna is 2 1/2.

Is that a whippet? greyhound?
I wish your family and Bean all the best.

2. Looks like an Italian greyhound.
But I can't imagine one of those being twice as big as anything.

Bean is a little big for the breed. Our Luna is very small for the breed.
This should give you an idea of Luna's size.

forgot the picture

7. Someone my wife works with
She had an accidental breeding. Bean was the last pup left. She wanted to keep him but just can't afford to keep three dogs and two kids being a single mom.

11. What a great fellow!
Have you thought about setting up a page for him on www.dogster.com? It's free, although you can get a plus option that has an annual fee. It's a lot of fun and has some informative forums and groups.

15. I spend a lot of time there--
we have organized a local Meet and Wag. There are some hilarious dog diaries. A change from the politically charged world we live in.

25. Bean looks two dimensional
Last time we were at the doggie park there was a borzoi. Everyone gawked at it -- it seemed so fragile because it was so skinny. Not like my little chub!
