1. It should be a poll
;)

No, no keys yet. I don't think it's a priority for the building management to call in the elevator repair guys. :(

Oh, and I turned wrong and popped my back, so 2006 is ending on a glorious note.

Oy.

3. lizzie, perhaps you ought to stay in bed until 2007!
Good grief, girl. You need to be careful!

4. Yeah, but it's no fun staying in bed alone
;)

Nah, I'll get all the garbage out of the way before 2006 so 2007 can start out right. (yeah, I'll talk myself into anything...)

:)

5. Oh, dear.
I'm slow at work and feeling relatively healthy. So I will you all of my good fortune, motivation, and optimism for the rest of the year.

6. Remember
I'm the person people point to and say "it could be worse, I could be her"

;)

My back is sore but no permanent damage. This is pretty par for the course actually.

18. I always worry about that when I get in elevators.
Even if my keys and my wallet are in my pocket, I still worry.

That sucks.

8. I dropped them in an elevator
and they fell to the bottom of the shaft. Pretty typical stuff for me actually. ;)

10. I learned a long time ago
to keep a spare car key in my wallet. I have an extra house key with a neighbor. I would hate to have to replace all those stupid store saving card things though. :(

12. How did they fall to the end of the shaft?
The elevator has holes in it's floor?

13. I was getting into the elevator
dropped my keys and they hit the floor and bounced once and disappeared between the elevator and the floor. The gap is about 2 inches so even my monster key ring fit right through. I heard them hit the concrete floor several floors below. :(

14. Oh man, that's more than unlucky.
If that happened in a movie, I'd say it was badly written.

Hope your landlord gets them back for you quickly. It's not very complicated, really.

15. Then my life is badly written
;)

I've got a ton of these kind of stories. Unfortunately, they're all true.

:)

It's the building where I work. Even less incentive for them to retrieve the keys. :eyes:

16. Oh well, then, you're free to bug them as much as you want.
You'll get your way if you bother them enough :D

17. lizziegrace ...
I know you are going to think I'm paranoid (okay, I'm paranoid), but to be on the safe side, you might want to change the locks to your house...provided your house keys were on there...due to the lengthy delay in getting them back. It's just too easy to copy keys, you know? Just watching out for you. :hi:
