Most embarrassing and long-running spelling mistake?
I think that I've mispelled hoard/horde approximately one brazillion times in my life, and no one has ever called me on it. I'm so ashamed. Yours?

2. I went to rehearsels for years
before I realized it was spelled r-e-h-e-a-r-s-a -l-s. And I always prided myself on spelling words properly. By the way, are you aware that "misspell" is one of the most frequently misspelled words?

6. Disastrous and disasterous for me.
I actually thought I was a decent speller before I experienced using a spell checker. If I don't remember to use the checker, I'm usually in trouble.
