I essentially watch one hour of tv a week and that is CSI. I don't blame him for leaving because I am getting sick of the format changes to the show and It think it cheapens the show. Last weak was the pits because they had us think Katherine got raped and then they sexualized the aftermath which I thought was unbelievably shitty and cheap. I hear their ratings might be suffering, is that why? And all this crap like 'the miniature killer' storyline, which is almost like something from JJ Abrams, and more of the courtroom type stuff. Katherine's daughter got kidnapped, and then that ex-lab kid guy got beat up. It's just so trying...I really respected this show before and I don't know why on earth they are messing with it...they are gonna mess with it right into the ground. I actually do think that the show can survive without Grissom's character, but only if they leave it alone and don't bring in some over-bearing actor like that red-haired guy on the other CSI who nobody can stand, including me. I really like all these characters, but I don't want them to be involved in the plot of the show; it just isn't realistic.
I wanted to start a thread about this too but I didn't think anyone would be interested. I hate that they moved "Without a Trace" to Sundays and are pushing this stupid "Shark" think with freeper James Woods in it on people, I can't stand to watch him now that I know he's a wingnut, and even Jerry Ryan can't save that for me. I heard they might move CSI to Sundays and then it will be back to back with Without a Trace again, which will be really cool.
