8. !

What prompted this thread is I watched one of those true life forensic shows
last night during a bout with insomnia.

Someone in San Diego had stashed two mummies in cardboard boxes at his ex-girlfriend's
parent's garage.

They found them 20 years later doing a spring cleaning.

The pair of mummies were ancient, but, that fact wasn't obvious at first.

15. A car pulls up and people start fighting out in the street.
A friend of mine just sold his home in Ga, and this happened to him kinda. He poured a glass of wine and went out on the poarch to wait for the agent and buyers to arrive. He'd no sooner went out than a car stopped in the street and started yelling at the neighbors soon there was a fight right there infront of his house. Cops arrived and arrested a few people and everything went back to normal. His neighbor yelled over when is the agenting showing up. Two seconds later they pull up and the first question out of the buyers mouth was "Is this a quiet neighborhood?"

19. Mold infestation
And by that I mean serious mold infestation, not just the carpets and window frames.
The house next door to my inlaws had its price dropped by more than half when this problem was discovered.

20. The current housing market
Many have seen $100,000 disappear, though over a year, not instantly. Some have lost much more than that.

Too many sellers chasing too few buyers.
