The stupidest cat in the world
He's stupid--he really is! You ask him to move, and he just stares at you. You try to push him out of the way, and he just stares at you. I can't believe a cat could be as dumb as Garibaldi. But the evidence is right there.

1. Maybe he isn't dumb, maybe he's just uncooperative
He is a cat, they do have a reputation for that.

5. Meet Chairman Meow, he goes out of his way to mess with me.

This guy LIVES to knock things on the floor. Anything left on a countertop or desk is going to end up on the floor. He also enjoys climbing window screens and playing with window blinds. He stands in front of my monitor and stares at me too. He is always messing with me.

7. So, let me get this straight. You go to the store and buy his food,
you open the can or bag and fill his bowl, you fill his water bowl, clean his litter box or let him in/out. He has no job and pays no rent, and he doesn't move when you want him to. And he's stupid. OK. Whatever you say.

9. Only because one that I had years ago is long gone.
His name was Doofus and he had narcolepsy. It was so funny to watch the cat walk across the room and fall asleep in mid stride. What was even funnier was that he had a prescription for speed.

10. He's not dumb...YOU are!
He asks you to move, and you just stare at him. He tries to push you out of the way, and you think he's trying to be affectionate.
:P

11. Listen,
Having been a guardian for many dogs, a few birds and now a very demanding Bombay kitty, I can tell ya the least bright species is the feline.

My cat is lush and beautiful and an eternal fur and purr blanket for my lap (she won't sleep anywhere else. She sleeps on my chest when I lie down) and I adore her, but I have no illusions about her intelligence. I replaced the curtains over her cat window and it took her 15 minutes to find the new opening. I pull the bed apart to flip the mattress, and invariably she sits on it right in my way. I even pull sheets over the top of her head and she doesn't move. Yet just try to pick her up and she's all howling and clawing.

With cats, face it--it's all about them. I've decided the only way to handle them is to allow them their whims and try to be a little more indifferent to them than they are to you. (they hate that--they can always sense it and that's the only time they try to please you.) But don't ever expect intellect or quick-mindedness from them. Dogs respond far faster.

12. They were once worshipped as gods; they never got over it.
That's not stupidity; that's arrogance.
