Anyone Else Just So Tired of the Cold and Ice? I am.
I want it to get warm again. I want to be able to walk without being afraid I will fall and break both my wrists.

I want a nice warm breeze from the south.

And we have another snow storm coming in tomorrow - YUK! But at least we aren't getting more ice here in KC. Poor Springfield - still with thousands out of power from last weekend - is supposed to get some snow first and then two days of freezing drizzle.

Man, sucks to be them.

2. Really. Springs is just around the corner now.
Our February is always gray and depressing but not nearly as cold. And then March comes in and we begin to have some good days.

You are absolutely right. Spring is in site now.

3. Oh, I know.
I'm in MO with you. It's depressing to wake up in a dark, cold room every morning. Then you go outside and it's cold and slick and wet. I can never get really warm--I walk around in my jacket. Plus, there are no big holidays between now and spring break, so February absolutely plods along. Once spring break hits, though, I think it's all downhill from there. After that, IMO, it gets easier...Easter break, baseball season, warm weather...

Luckily, pitchers and catchers check in in less than a month, which my brain usually equates with the beginning of the end of the winter nastiness. :)

4. We have Valentines to look forward to.
It's my favorite holiday. Falls right in the middle of the February doldrums. All that pink makes me happy.
